Summary[edit] Description: The threatened seabeach amaranth shares habitat with the loggerhead sea turtle at Onslow beach, North Carolina. Endangered Species Biologist and plant expert, Dale Suiter examined the plant and confirmed it was in full bloom. This annual plant has very small flowers that will drop seeds and die.
