Summary[edit] Description: The threatened seabeach amaranth shares habitat with the loggerhead sea turtle at Onslow beach, North Carolina. Endangered Species Biologist and plant expert, Dale Suiter examined the plant and confirmed it was in full bloom. This annual plant has very small flowers that will drop seeds and die. Other similar plants may show up in this location next season. August 8, 2013 Photo by Lilibeth Serrano, Public Affairs Specialist, USFWS. Date: 30 January 2013, 13:28.
