Die Kleinbruinsterretjie (Anous tenuirostris) is 'n voël en seldsame swerwer aan die kus langs Mosambiek uit tropiese Indiese Oseaan-kolonies. Die voël is 30 – 34 cm lank, 90 - 120 g groot met 'n vlerkspan van 70 – 75 cm. In Engels staan die voël bekend as die Little Noddy.

Length: 30-34 cm. Plumage: uniformly dark brown except lighter brown tail; head with whitish forehead merging into blue- or lavender-grey cap and below the eye, not distinct form lores. Bare parts: iris brown; relatively long thin bill black; feet and legs brownish black. Habitat: offshore waters, beyond reef, and oceanic islands. Uncommon but regular. Breeds in tropical and sub-tropical Indian Ocean. <389><391><393>
