Summary[edit] Description: English: Brolgas not only forage along the floodplains of the Burke and other rivers, but boldly venture into the town of Boulia. Their trumpeting at sunrise salutes each new day and is readily heard in the town of Boulia, as the brolgas camp along the nearby Burke River overnight. Brolgas will tolerate a human observer provided a respectful distance is kept. Approach too close and they will walk unhurriedly away, always preserving a buffer zone between themselves and the observer. Date: 20 July 2018, 11:09:24. Source: Own work.
