In most cases the skin reaction is a fair index of the susceptibilityof the patient to pollen inhalation. When the skin reaction disappears, which may occur afterthe fifth to twentieth injection, the treatment may be discontinuedif the hay fever season is far advanced, or the injections made atlonger intervals if this is not the case.
