Iris missouriensis (Rocky Mountain Iris) is a species of perennial herb in the family Iridaceae. They are listed as of special concern by COSEWIC. They are native to Canada and The Contiguous United States. They have purple flowers and capsule fruit. Individuals can grow to 1 feet.
