Nephrolepis (Swordfern) is a genus of herb in the family sword ferns. They are native to Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, The Contiguous United States, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Hawaii. They have pinnate leaves. They have alternation of generations.
