Persicaria pensylvanica (Pennsylvania Smartweed) is a species of annual herb in the family Polygonaceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, North America, Alaska, and South America. They have red flowers and achenes. Individuals can grow to 3.9 feet.
