Pagellus bogaraveo (Blackspot Seabream) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family porgies. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN. They are carnivores. Individuals are known to live for 15 years and can grow to 70 cm. Reproduction is iteroparous and oviparous.
