Epinephelus marginatus (Dusky Grouper) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family sea basses. They are listed as endangered by IUCN. They are carnivores. Individuals are known to live for 50 years and can grow to 150 cm. Reproduction is iteroparous and oviparous.
