Atlantic Sturgeon

Acipenser sturio (Atlantic Sturgeon) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family sturgeons. They are listed as critically endangered by IUCN. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are solitary carnivores. Individuals are known to live for 100 years and can grow to 300 cm. Reproduction is oviparous and iteroparous.
