Sphyrna zygaena (Smooth Hammerhead) is a species of modern sharks in the family hammerhead sharks. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN. They are associated with freshwater habitat. Individuals can grow to 500 cm. Reproduction is iteroparous and viviparous.
