Sphyrna lewini (Scalloped Hammerhead) is a species of modern sharks in the family hammerhead sharks. They are listed as endangered by IUCN. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are carnivores. Individuals are known to live for 35 years and can grow to 610 cm. Reproduction is iteroparous and viviparous.
