Carcharhinus limbatus (Blacktip Shark) is a species of modern sharks in the family requiem sharks. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN. They are associated with freshwater habitat. Individuals are known to live for 12 years and can grow to 340 cm. Reproduction is viviparous and iteroparous.
