This is the Harbour Tellen and is quite difficult to distinguish from the Shining Sunset Shell until you have both species to compare in hand. Generally these shells are considerably whiter internally and lacks the whiter muscle blotches. the periostracum is more persistent and the hinge position differs marginally.
