Up to 4 cm long. Similar to H. infucata, this species is pale blue with yellow spots and with dark blue streaks running in from the mantle edge. The rhinophores are deep red with blue stalks,and the gills are a complex of colours but always with yellow spots on their outer faces. Habitat: diverse, among shallow coral reefs. Distribution: E Africa to W Pacific (Richmond, 1997).
