Description: I think this is the male of the pair of oyster catchers living on the hotel. When I started watching them this fellow was stood on sentry duty at the edge of the roof, then after about 30 minutes he started performing what could only be described as "oyster catcher aerobics"! I like to think that after spending so much time standing on one leg (as most waders do) he had got cramp and was trying to relieve it before flying off for a spot of worm hunting.
