Also distributed in Australia (Kalk (1958) and Rowe & Gates (1995)). Ecology: benthic, continental shelf. General distribution: temperate, discontinuous (South Africa), depth range 44-100 m. (Rowe & Gates, 1995). Description: Colour brownish with ringed radial shields. Aboral arm plates fan-shaped, distal edge convex and rounded. Oral shields rhomboidal. Adoral plates not contiguously in contact (Balinsky, 1957).
