Colour: olive-greenish on a white background (Balinsky, 1957). Ecology: benthic, inshore. General distribution: tropical, discontinuous (south east Africa, Natal-Inhaca Is.), depth range 0-11 m. (Rowe & Gates, 1995). Also distributed in north Australia in Clark & Rowe (1971) and Rowe & Gates (1995).
