This little tricky was spotted as part of sea lettuce and we initially thought the lighter part was a seed of some sort. On closer inspection it was realised that this was a foot of a gastropod! Total guess but I think this is a spotted tiger topshell.

Lurking in the low intertidal zone on red algae. The last photo shows the area to get an idea of size. I did not see this until I got it onto my pc. Do not have a clue what it is - any ideas @clinton? :) I guessed gastropods as a stating place because it has a shell - I think *LOL*
