Identified by Todd (1965) as A. radiata (pl. 14 fig. 1-3), not A. radiata Opinion of Hallock Muller (2019) pers. comm.: " I don't think any of these are A. radiata; 1 may be A. bicirculata, 2. A. papillosa, and 3 is A. bicirculata"

Amphistegina lessonii sensu Jones, R.W. 1994. The Challenger Foraminifera. Image source: Brady, H.B. (1884) Pl. 111 Note: Hallock Muller (2019) pers. comm.: " 2 is A. bicirculata; 5 is A. lessonii, and probably also 6; 7 is A. gibbosa, and probably also 4. Larsen (1976) called both 1 and 2 A. bicirculata, but 2 is nearly identical to his figures. I am not sure what 1 is, probably a younger A. radiata (look at the number of chambers compared to 2) ." Amphistegina bicirculata sensu Jones, R.W. 1994. The Challenger Foraminifera. Image source: Brady, H.B. (1884) Pl. 111 Note: Hallock Muller (2019) pers. comm. :" I think Plate 111 fig. 2a,b,c are better representations of A. bicirculata than is Plate 111 fig. 1a,b,c, which I suspect is an A. radiata. I suspect that Larsen referred to the wrong set of images." Plate 111 fig. 1a,b,c was originally included in the synonymies of A. bicirculata by Larsen (1976).
