Polyodon spathula (Mississippi Paddlefish) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family paddlefishes. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and as extirpated by COSEWIC. They are associated with freshwater habitat. Individuals are known to live for 55 years.
