Distribution
provided by World Register of Marine Species
This species was originally based on animals observed in European waters, thus all records as an introduced species for the NE Atlantic are - at this stage - unfounded. Only a thorough population genetic (pyhlogeographic) analysis might show which is the likely center from which the dispersal started.
