My first sighting of the new whitefly predator that was released in Gisborne 2014 season. One year on and this sighting about 3km from nearest release site as best as I can tell... There are 3 serangium spp that look similar... S. bellum, S. maculigerum or S. gloria ? I think maculigerum.

Five found during a quick look at my two very sad lemon trees, the whitefly did not look like Orchamoplatus citri, the eggs were not in definite circles...

flew off before I could macro it, but I managed a close enough look to see the coppery spots on the elytra, no visual difference to the ones I observe on citrus at home
