Socotra Sparrow

El gorrión de Socotora (Passer insularis) ^[2] ye un ave de la familia de les paséridas, endémica de les islles Socotora, Samhah y Darsah, allugaes al este del Cuernu d'África, nel Océanu Índicu. ^[3] La xenealoxía taxonómica d'esta especie resulta complexa, cuidao que esisten substantivas diferencies ente los ornitólogos y biólogos al respeutu: mientres dellos autores, incluyíu Birdlife International, entender cercanu al gorrión de Abd al - Kuri (del cual evolucionaría la especie), otros atopar emparentáu filogenéticamente col gorrión de Cabu Verde (del que baxaría).
