About 2 feet long. Slimy. 4 tiny legs. 2 in front and 2 in back. Very calm. My pond flooded and he washed up on the side of the road. I got him off the road and put him back in the pond. I was a little worried about him because it says they are nocturnal. And this was afternoon. He was very sluggish but when he got in the water, he took off. So awesome.
