Ambystoma tigrinum (Tiger Salamander) is a species of amphibians in the family mole salamanders. They are listed as endangered by COSEWIC. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are found in The Neotropics and The Nearctic. Individuals are known to live for 25 years and can grow to 36 cm.
