Deceased White-tailed Antelope Squirrel (Ammospermophilus leucurus) On a walk came across a Great Basin gopher snake constricting a small squirrel. It released it as soon as I walked past and retreated into bushes. Carefully dusted off the squirrel with a glove to see the pattern of fur and took a photo. Backed some yards away and the gopher snake come back to retrieve the deceased squirrel.
