Over half-dozen spadefoots seen and heard calling from large, temporary pool in wash. Individuals called from water and when disturbed swifty submerged and surfaced many yards away. Thunderstorm producing much lighting, hail, and rain, moved overhead and into the surrounding desert. While photographing spadefoots in the evening, a flashflood swepted down the wash filling the pool with a continous stream. Observed from 7:16-8:00 p.m.

Exposed calmly conducting warmth from pavement. When picked up discharged urine. That urine may have been the cause of sneezing and eyes to water. Strong, moaning chorus heard from temporary pool, in tall grass parallel with road.
