Quantity: ~50 Moon Phase: Waning Gibbous County: Bandera It is good to finally see Gulf Coast Toad larvae after a few small rains. They were present in considerably small puddles of water in a mostly dry stream bed.

Method: Log Flipping Habitat: Residential/Live Oak Savannah Temp: 80F Humidity: 42% Pressure: 29.85 in This is the first toad I've seen in my yard in some time, maybe a couple years? A few straight days of light precipitation seems to have coaxed some Gulf Coast Toads to the surface.

About an inch long. Limestone rock ledge just off of Walnut Creek in northern Austin. Hopped like a toad.

Found under a tin pile about 10 m from a dirt path. Another larger adult was also found under the same tin pile.
