Stuck to a glass bottle. Sticking it's feeding tentacles out into the water, they were red. White shell with golden spots. Clumps of the creatures attached to bottle by tubes.

This barnacle was found on a coconut palm that washed up on the Tohe, 90 Mile Beach.

The course and find lines are seen clearly. the first 2 photos are the biggest that whas on this rock that was wahed up and 30mm long shell and 10mm long stalk. the 3rd photo the shells are 10mm long. The last photo shows the rock they were found on. I think these are all the same species @nzshells? :)
