Observed on Asclepias viridis. These are usually on A. viridis here; I just don't usually mention them in my observations. Partly overcast, 80sF.

Numerous individuals observed on Asclepias viridis. I expect syrphid fly larvae to appear soon, as has happened in the past. Low 80sF, mostly overcast.

Numerous individuals on Asclepias viridis. 82F, overcast, intermittent rain.

Numerous individuals observed on Asclepias viridis. After the resurgence of these aphids, today I found two predators with them on the A. viridis: a Spotless Ladybird Beetle (shown here feeding on an aphid) and the larva of a syrphid fly (which I am sure will soon be joined by more). I never remove aphids from the milkweed at this location because the predators, in cycles, I will always take care of them. 82F, mostly cloudy, humid and damp, intermittent very light breeze.
-
Numerous individuals continue to infest these Asclepias viridis plants. However, in the last few days, I have observed a syrphid fly ovipositing on the infested leaves, as well as a spotless ladybird beetle and a syrphid fly larva on them, so the number of aphids should start to decline rapidly. Low 70sF, overcast, intermittent rain.

Numerous individuals observed on Asclepias viridis. Upper 70s, partly overcast.

Numerous individuals observed on Asclepias viridis. 80F, sunny, humid.

Numerous individuals observed on Asclepias viridis. I believe that the darker/larger individuals in this photograph are parasitized aphids. 80sF, mostly sunny, humid.
-
-
Numerous individuals on several Asclepias viridis plants. Even more appear parasitized today then in the last few days. 80sF, sunny, humid.
