Summary[edit] Description: If the name Caryopteris seems familiar it's because it's better known for some late flowering greyish subshrubs (C. x clandonensis etc). C.divaricata is quite different, being fully herbaceous. The flowers are also very distinctive - very like the tropical Clerodendron myricoides (ugandense), to which it is related. The smell of the foliage is also reminiscent of Clerodendron. Date: 3 October 2009, 12:43. Source: Caryopteris divaricata. Author: peganum from Small Dole, England.
