Sharks are powerful, impressive creatures and some have quite beautiful markings like this banded wobby at Broughton Island, Port Stephens. It's a large shark that grows to 2.5 m although this one was just under 2 m I'd say
The banded wobbegong is distinguished from it's close cousin the spotted wobby by having darker saddle markings with black edges and a less distinct white spot pattern. Shark Point
