2011-07-12 Vienna XXII. district, Lobau national park (150 msm Quadrant 7865/3).German name: RotfuchsHunting small game, obviously (mice and such) - and obviously an adolescent one.Even though it must have noticed me a few moments after the first shots I took it didn't seem to care one bit about my presence - except that it didn't let me get too close; which is also the reason why some of the shots are slightly blurred and not of best quality.I'm still uploading a series of 13 shots in total (others linked below) as they represent a motion study of a fox hunting - something which isn't so easily observed in nature. (Possibly - most likely even this young one didn't yet make acquaintance with hunters, nor other hostile humans).
This is Kiki once again. I have such difficulty catching a clear image of her eyes because she's so jumpy & always moving around, & finally I managed to do it (after taking more shots than I care to divulge...)!She really is a beautiful creature.
