I found a few shells of Minor Jackknife Clam, Ensis minor Dall, 1900 at University Beach, Corpus Christi Bay, Texas. Sometime this species is quite common, but it may disappear for a while. Read more about this species in the Encyclopedia of Texas Seashells (p. 379) or the new Texas Seashells Field Guide (p. 224).
