I saw this individual eating redwood cone seeds. I find it super neat how this introduced species is able to adapt to the environment here! I wonder if they consume a similar food source back in their native range?

I spotted a flock of about eight birds, including at least one all-green juvenile, feeding on Cordia sebestena fruit on my way to school yesterday morning. Today, my dad brought my camera and we photographed them.
