Okay, I know this has to be a house or a purple finch, but that beak is huge, and his chest has no streaks. Thoughts? There's no way this is a Cassin's, right? Seen at Lake Lagunitas.

A couple of female Purple Finches on the bird feeder outside the visitor center at Trustom Pond NWR. The patterned head, the straight bill, the notched tail, and the character of the streaking distinguish it from a House Finch.

I finally spotted a finch with more red/purple than brown. This isn't a House Finch.
