Dunlin are usually far away and constantly moving. These were standing right next to me and occasionally staying still. Thank you, Hamo Dunlin. Feeding on slipper snails, Crepidula fornicata.

These four were passing through at Weston Beach

This dunlin flew right up next to me (approx. 2 feet) and was feeding on the sea life of an exposed boulder at low tide. I presume it was in the middle of migration and was too hungry to worry about me or my camera.
