My FOY (First of Year), even though they have been back for a couple of weeks now. Saw this one shortly after arriving in the morning. Over lunch hour, I managed to flush another eleven in the area around HQ without being able to photograph any of them. Also seen were 15 000 to 20 000 Robins.

Five more sightings today, although likely only three different individuals. This was the only one I managed to photograph.

I bent down to pick several ticks off of my pants, and there she was. This is a 1x photo...she was probably two feet from where I stood.

This beautiful once-was-a-bird caught my eye on my commute. Long bill (2-3 in), intricate brown patterning, body near 9 in long.
