14 harbor seals were hauled out on the dock on Dec. 12. The numbers are increasing, as is typical at this time of year.

Record number of harbor seals, 38, observed hauled out on the old dock. This is almost double the peak numbers seen by observers in the last couple of years. Most probably, a sudden cold snap caused more seals to take refuge on the dock on Christmas Day.
