This Pyrola seems to key possibly to P. chlorantha, given the minimal white vienation. It appears distinct from P. picta growing in the vicinty, but does not have a peltate stigma consistent with P. minor. I did not collect this specimen so I have defaulted to P. picta.

Slo.: zelenkastovenčna zelenka - Habitat: Mixed wood, sandy calcareous ground covered by mosses, close to river bank, in shade, quite humid place, average precipitations ~3.000 mm/year, elevation 550 m (1.800 feet), average temperature 7-9 deg C, alpine phytogeographical region. - Substratum: siol. - Comment: Growing solitary and in groups, several ten plants present. Pyrola chlorantha has a circumboreal distribution throughout the northern latitudes of Eurasia and America. However, in Slovenia it is the rarest of all four species of the genus Pyrola.
