Indigenous to Malesia region lowland forests. Plant can grow to a gigantic more than 50 meters height and now quiet a rarity. Fruit flesh is yellow, with a sour but tasty flavor that is often used locally for pickles, eaten raw with chillies and prawn paste and soy-sauce.
