Summary[edit] Description: English: This photo was taken in a chimpanzee sanctuary (Chimfunshi, Zambia) during observational data collection in August 2015. Mike, the male chimpanzee, sits down to feed. In his eyes the white sclera is visible, which is special since the white sclera is a prominent trait in human eyes. Although he looks to the side here and the sclera is very much visible, he belongs to the few chimpanzees where the sclera is in general more visible than in others.English: This photo was taken in a chimpanzee sanctuary (Chimfunshi, Zambia) during observational data collection in August 2015.
