See the Stinkhorn observation just before this one. Upon lifting the Stinkhorn from its cup, I was surprised to see this insect hunkered down at the bottom of the cup. That took a bit to tease it out and then all it wanted to do was to burrow into the grass.

There were several (10+?) climbing on this mound of mile-a-minute. We could smell something dead but couldn't see it.
