Red-veined Darter Santander, Spain 13 August 2002 This species was very common along a beach area at Santander, Spain in August 2002. Thank to Erland Nielsen in Denmark for confirming the ID of this old word dragon for me.

This is the only ""skimmer"" dragonfly in the Azores. Several shots of various males posted."
