Found wedged between two rocks in a cave. The cave entrance was about 10 above the ground. 10 feet back, the cave extended upward 8ft to what May have been right below the ground of the top of a hill. It was dark, damp, and the ceiling was made of roots and dirt.
-
Very light individual, difficult to distinguish. Gravid.

Probably a barking frog (Eleutherodactylus augusti), just inside the entrance to the cave. Well, that was my ID back in 2006. Actually, it also looks a lot like this pic of a Cliff Chirping Frog (Eleutherodactylus marnockii). Thoughts?

Several individuals calling, though this guy was hopping along the sidewalk. It ran pretty quickly and was hard to make out even when it was right in front of me

These guys were singing in my backyard all spring, but this is the first one I've seen. I'd love an ID confirmation as I live in east Austin on the Blackland Prairie, and assumed they'd only be west on the Hill Country side of Austin.
