Found in low vegetation 20m from lake. Saw 4 more at lake edge. Most frogs I've seen in ages.

Happily clearing around the outdoor moana gear hosing area for hard use this summer and I spot this little poraka sitting on a korari (harakeke) leaf keeping an eye on what I am up to. Went up to get the camera and it was still there when I got back. Had to even trim a few branches close to it to get able to get photos and it just sat there. The word must be out that creatures living around here can become famous on Nature Watch as they are all so co-operative! *LOL*

Was tramping, came across a large frog, several inches long in the saturated rainforest. Would love to have it identified!? Many thanks, George UPDATE: I believe it may be a green and golden bell frog (Litoria aurea)!!
