"Prosopocoilus inclinatus inclinatus ãã³ã®ãªã¯ã¯ã¬ã¿ï¼å°ååä½ï¼ This is a smaller type of the popular Japanese ""Nokogiri"" stag beetle. The pincers in this species can become highly developed and strong, however this one had smaller pincers. I've read that the size can depend upon the nutrition availability and the temperature of the environment during juvenile development. Apparently these smaller types are becoming more common as temperatures rise with global warming. Oshima, Tokyo æ±äº¬é½å¤§å³¶çº"
