This photo shows some holes in the caps of the nest. I was wondering if perhaps some other wasp like the little Ichneumon that was visiting a couple of days earlier may have parasitized the nest, though I'm surprised anything could get past these to do so. The second and third photos are from the earlier observation on JUly 17: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/3692962

In the greenhouse. A lot of the caps have small holes in them and look hollow inside. Two little Pachysomoides fulvus wasps were watching the nest again early this morning.

The greenhouse gang. There are larvae in the open nest holes. This group is becoming a bit more aggressive.
